really great idea for a fishing horror game, the minigame was just frustrating enough that it could take your attention away from your surroundings so that the game could change things around you and subvert your personal reality which made you feel very uncomfortable and out of control while you're also very curious as to the backstory being uncovered as you fish. Sick short horror game.

tbh the games short, hard, but kinda fun. also who would throw a baby in the lake (thats what i said, when i reached the ending.) but there are afew things that bother me, like the camera being all weird when i try to look a spiffic way (i played on the switch version.) and that you have to move your view around to fish (wich i believe is supposed to be apart of the game, wich is fine.) but other than those, its a fun game.
btw if anyone sees this and doesn't know how to catch a fish, look in the water, then interact with it, and when it shows your catching something, move the camera around, because the wire (i dont know what that string part is, because i only fished once irl, and i was very young back then.) seems to follow the string.
i just saw afew comments not knowing how to fish, and i felt like saying that, because i dont really see any ways to fish for the switch version (kinda makes sence since the switch is easyer to learn.

This was a great example of what makes fishing such a perfect vessel for horror. The inherent mystery of what you are going to pull out of the water ( a terrifying place already) and that horrible feeling when you see you've pulled something writhing in agony? *chefs kiss*
I would absolutely have played for another hour if there had been more types to pull.
BUT! oh my god fishing out the wife?? nearly killed me. why was she so hard to pull?? 😭😭😭totally humiliated myself lol BUT IT IS POSSIBLE!
Posting here because I can't find anywhere else to comment but the Switch version seems to be completely broken to near unplayability. I absolutely cannot figure out how the fishing works. Nothing I do really seems to keep the fish in the little circle to catch it. Also the camera controls are baffling to say the least. It's impossible to look side to side, the smallest flick of the stick sends the camera off diagonally. It's only $2 but still, I legitimately can't tell if I'm doing something wrong.
