This game was incredibly atmospheric! Without any upfront context, the developer really gives you a lot to think about regarding the game's story. The way the mood and concept are conveyed through the visuals is simply stunning. And the epilogue ties everything together beautifully. Absolutely amazing!
I have a soft spot for horror fishing games, and this one is one of the BEST! Hits all the things I LOVE in sea horror games; great atmosphere, great sound design, and creepy ass fish. 10/10 . DEFINITELY give this one a play!
Had a request to play this and it was definitely an interesting game to play. Didn't understand the story telling until later but once it clicked it clicked. I will say fishing up the 6th fish made me want to cry. LOL
There were moments in this game that were frustrating...mainly the mechanics, but after awhile I got it..for the most part! But overall this was an amazing game! Fantastic design, scares, creepiness and story! Great job!
Yeah I know about the problem but I honestly can't think of an easy solution (the Vertex shader of the water can't communicate with any c# scripts), but thank you to pointing it out (;
Kobliznik I think I have the solution to your problem.
And then make it so that the circle and thing above will shrink and expand depending on if the player moves forward or backward, and if the player moves the camera up down left right, make it move the opposite way by using camera position or whatever.
You will also have to account for random player position upon start of fish fight so the circle is in the right place and the right size. im believe you can figure it out but if you are having trouble holler. I don't remember if the boat bobs, but if it does, take that into account too.
P.S. if that somehow works, can you credit me in the credits?
I'd say it would be decently hard to do because this possibly has never been done before, so don't be pressured to do it.
Impressive game considering it was made in 2 weeks but other than that it was enjoyable though the fishing mechanic could of been maybe more interactive. Other than that it was pretty good for what it is
I enjoyed the atmosphere of the game but I was unable to finish due to the actual fishing part of the game. It's impressive for being completed in 2 weeks, but the gameplay itself could use some work. The catching meter depletes way too quickly when the fish is outside of the circle and fills up too slowly when it's actually in the circle. This paired up with the erratic and seemingly random movements make the game a bit too difficult for what's supposed to be a short game. Still seriously impressive, though!
this was fun but good lord was the fishing hard, not hating, since from reading the other comments you made this in 2 weeks which is much more than i could pull off
I don’t know if there’s something wrong with my PC settings or if I’m just bad at the game, but the fishing is so hard I couldn’t even finish the game.
The fish don’t react the way I presume they will, and sometimes even move to completely different directions to what you would expect.
It turned a very interesting and eerie experience into a extremely frustrating one.

Love the idea of an eternal turmoil while on a boat at sea.
I do wish the fishing mechanic was easier as i spent a good 20 mins on just one fish.

Jakub Varga Can you make it so the circle does not go under water when getting fish?

its supposed to be hard you have to pull your line in turn to what the fish does
